What is the Dental Health Plan and why should I join?

Our Dental Health Plan is a maintenance plan which aims to ensure your teeth are kept in the best possible condition. Before joining the plan, we will offer you an initial assessment and provide a treatment plan to get you dentally fit*. Thereafter, the regular dental health plan appointments will provide your dental maintenance.

We believe that the Dental Health Plan gives you the best chance of staying dentally fit.

  1. Helping prevent gum disease, bleeding, tooth decay, tooth loss, bad breath, oral cancer and heart disease.

  2. Using minimally invasive techniques and our latest materials to help maintain more tooth structure. Thus reducing fillings, crowns, tooth removal or dentures.

  3. Reducing dental problems in the future.

Did you know that as lifestyle changes or in time with health changes, for instance with diabetes, immunity issues, hormonal changes or stress, that this can affect your gum health. It is important to maintain your gums to help keep your teeth.

The Dental Health Plan is paid for monthly, making dental care relatively affordable and guarantees regular dental appointments.

Why have we introduced the Dental Health Plan?

The Dental Health Plan allows us to spend more time with our patients bringing the very best in dental techniques, materials and approaches to help them stay healthy.

What do I get and what does it cost?

Dental Health Plan – A Standard Level   (A one off joining fee** of £10 and then £11.85 per month)

  • 2 dental appointments per year. Each appointment will include:

    • Full mouth dental examination, including an oral cancer screen

    • Hygiene/prevention care to provide plaque control and plaque removal (plaque is the enemy of dental health, and is the cause of most tooth decay and gum disease).

We will take small x-rays, when required, to check on the ‘hidden areas’ – the bone, and areas inside, between and under the teeth.

If you need treatment – you will receive a 15% discount off the cost of any general dentistry treatment you require (fillings, crowns etc) – our private fee list is attached.

Dental Health Plan - B Extended Level (A one off joining fee** of £10 and then £17.10 per month)

As standard level, but with two additional hygiene/prevention visits (15 minute appointments) for those patients who need extra help in controlling plaque (plaque is the enemy of dental health, and is the cause of most tooth decay and gum disease).

Are there any extra costs?

The Dental Health Plan is designed to keep you dentally fit, and reduce the risk of needing extensive treatment e.g., fillings etc.  However, if you ever do need treatment, then Dental Health Plan patients get a 15% discount on our standard general dentistry fees (this excludes any referrals to the Oral Surgeons)

The plan does not cover Emergency treatment appointments – these will be charged as detailed in the private fee list.

What is different about our Dental Health Plan?

Under the plan, your regular dental and hygiene/prevention visits are taken care of and you only need to pay for any treatments if they are needed. As well as our dentists our hygienist can also help you look after your gums

You only pay for what you need or want.  Other plans charge a monthly fee that can be in excess of what you personally need.

How do I pay?
